We still recommend visitors purchase a pre-booked ticket, but we do accept walk-ups too.
If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, please contact the museum and we can amend your ticket or issue you a refund. Please do not travel to the museum if you have symptoms.
We welcome everyone to the museum and ask that visitors use their own discretion when deciding whether to wear a face covering. Staff on gallery, in the café and shop will be wearing masks or visors and screens at till points will remain in place.
The one-way system around the museum has been removed allowing you to move through the museum freely.
There are hand sanitiser stations placed throughout the museum and our team will be cleaning regularly to keep all visitors safe.
Please be mindful of social distancing when appropriate, such as when queuing or in crowded spaces but we will no longer reminding you of this. While you no longer need to check in, our Test and Trace QR codes will still be in place and the self-isolation rules by NHS Test and Trace remain in place.

Our home is right next to St. James’s Hospital. Onsite parking is available, pay and display charges apply.
You can get to us on the major bus routes from Leeds City Centre. Numbers: 16, 42, 49, 50 and 50A stop outside our museum.
We have an onsite Pay and Display car park at the front of the museum. The machines accept coin and card payment.

Alternative parking can also be found at St James’s Hospital multi-storey car park which is a short walk away from the museum. it is located next to the landmark Leeds Cancer Centre building and is clearly signposted as you enter the hospital site from Beckett Street.
